A NOT SO ORDINARY VALENTINE'S DAY OUT
Yesterday, 14 FEB, saw a number of guys lining up on a stall for something I cannot see from where I was. Just when we got closer... of course, it's a flower stall, after all it's Valentines.
So how did we spend our Valentine's? I was on leave, not really for Valentine's but because I was availing my 2012 leave credits that would just expire if I do not use them. so I took sometime off and we scheduled a few activities for the next 2 days.
First, we have to get my Insurance claim.... but since it would be about lunch time when we reached Makati area, we decided to get lunch first. Our legs brought us to CHIHUAHUA Merican Grill and Margarita Bar at Greenbelt 2. What are the choices for Lunch? Tacos, Nachos, Chicken Salad and Pecan Pie for dessert. If you are fond of something spicy, this is one good place to go. The store ambiance is also cozy that gives you a light feeling even if you are felling hot because of the spices! There are a lot of pictures on their walls, so you can look at some of the patron's of this place while you chew on your Tacos and Nachos....

The Kebab Factory
Last March when I was sent to India for a training, I had the chance to try Indian food. I am not really the person who enjoys "hot" food but the taste of Indian food was a nice experience. I was telling Tutel about the food that was served in India and she was curious to get a taste of something like it... so we decided to find Indian food in Manila.... try "The Kebab Factory" at SM MegaMall.

Another FUN dining @ Don Henrico's
April Fool's Day and we were craving "to eat something different"... that is when we usually want to eat a lot! hahaha!
After searching for a long time along the crowded places... we decided to for Don Henrico's. Here, servings are quite large for the hungry tummys (hehe), and the prices are affordable and reasonable.

FOUR YEARS OF DINING TOGETHER
Where do I begin? Four years ago...
If I look back and think of the times that we have spent together... "time passes" could be the most appropriate to describe it. For four (4) years we have been dining together.... but I can still remember the first meal we shared... our first date...
This year we decided to celebrate at the OLD SPAGHETTI HOUSE. Located at the 3rd floor of Robinson's Mall, Malate Manila. Why this one? Guess because we haven't tried eating here (haha!).
What's for dinner? They have this trio platter and looking at the picture, we thought it was just small servings of Spag, Nachos and Caesar Salad... so we decided to order pizza as add-on, paired that with BOTTOMLESS iced-tea, think that's complete enough.
Dinner is served! The trio wasn't really small servings as we pictured it... all of three are in BIG servings! Don't forget the pizza... so this is really not a short diner... we actually spent about an hour eating through... and ending up, taking home the pizza :) For the price of Php699 (about $17), trio is good enough for 3-4 people. This is really a good deal. You could actually say that it's cheap considering the size of their servings. The place is clean, servers are attentive. Generally the store is decorated with vases, pots, wooden chairs and tables, appealing to a look of an old house...clean and more modern though (haha!).

DINING OUT AT MALL OF ASIA (MOA)
Tutel and I decided to go out for a dinner and the closest place we can go is SM MOA - Mall of Asia.
And one of the best times that you can spend at MOA is at night. For one you'll be greeted by this "globe" , flashing ads... and different themes. Last Christmas, this could turn into a large Christmas ball.

BUTTERED CRABS IN OYSTER SAUCE
Since Tutel and I have been fond of eating seafoods, we "feast" whenever Tutel's mom sends crabs from their province- Paracale, Camarines Norte, Philippines. Fortunately, I just have the perfect recipe that I have learned for these crabs. My specialty - Buttered Crabs in Oyster Sauce.
So, I am going to share with you, how to prepare this lovely dish:)
