If I look back and think of the times that we have spent together... "time passes" could be the most appropriate to describe it. For four (4) years we have been dining together.... but I can still remember the first meal we shared... our first date...
This year we decided to celebrate at the OLD SPAGHETTI HOUSE. Located at the 3rd floor of Robinson's Mall, Malate Manila. Why this one? Guess because we haven't tried eating here (haha!).
What's for dinner? They have this trio platter and looking at the picture, we thought it was just small servings of Spag, Nachos and Caesar Salad... so we decided to order pizza as add-on, paired that with BOTTOMLESS iced-tea, think that's complete enough.
Dinner is served! The trio wasn't really small servings as we pictured it... all of three are in BIG servings! Don't forget the pizza... so this is really not a short diner... we actually spent about an hour eating through... and ending up, taking home the pizza :) For the price of Php699 (about $17), trio is good enough for 3-4 people. This is really a good deal. You could actually say that it's cheap considering the size of their servings. The place is clean, servers are attentive. Generally the store is decorated with vases, pots, wooden chairs and tables, appealing to a look of an old house...clean and more modern though (haha!).
So, 1 to 5 (5 being the highest)... we're giving The Old Spaghetti House a..... 5!
So after a tasteful dinner we decided to get some ice cream. And where else could be a better place to get one at Robinson's than CARAMIA. Caramia is located at the 2nd floor.
We could say that they serve very good ice cream... while you may have to spend more than your regular ice cream, surely their products would satisfy your taste buds.
Guess it's really not where you eat out or what you eat that makes the moment enjoyable. It's the bonding time that makes the dining FUN and memorable. It's more than satisfying your taste buds that makes the dinner complete... it's the time spent with each other.... the memory that both of you will look back years from now.
