6th Pyromusical Competition, Philippines

The MOA skies was painted again with beautiful colors for the past weeks as the 6th Pyromusical Competition started.

We do not watch the Pyromusical Competition at MOA for the reason that there's too many people that you have compete for space with, especially after the event.  We thought we are better off looking at the fireworks from a distance. The fireworks can actually be seen from the balcony of our house.

This all changed when we were encouraged to watch and was offered free VIP tickets by a friend. Well, we have no plans for the Saturday and so we accepted to watch.

Emam's 60th Birthday

It was Emam's 60th birthday and Tutel and I decided that we'll celebrate her special day with the relatives.  After scouting through the various "eat-all-you-can" restaurants in the vicinity of MOA, we decided to take La Fiesta, where Filipino dishes are served.

HIBERNATING FOR THE WEEKEND

It's been a while since I made my last entry... guess I have been busy with work and Tutel preparing for her Finals.  While we still manage to get our once in a while eat-outs, I realized that we have not travelled out of town since AUG.

So, I guess it would be another round of hibernating for the weekend.  Movies, nap, eat, computer, read, movies, snack, computer, twitter, blog, browse... not that we don't enjoy it... because we DO enjoy just staying at home.

Dinner, Fish and Co. - Mall of Asia

And these fishes keep us company... I watch them whenever I need to relax...

Another restful weekend...

KULIT @ BAY WALK AND MOA

The day is almost over, but Kulit's FUN day is not yet over.  Before heading back to MOA, we decided to walk through Manila's "Bay Walk" area.   This place used to be filled with "gimik" stalls when the night falls.  There were a lot of makeshift bars that served beers, food stands,  never ending music being played by different live bands,  street mimes... now the place is left for joggers, fishing enthusiasts, people who love to stroll along the bay... sunset watchers.

Ships anchored from a far under the beautiful sunset.  Kulit taking interest in watching the shore.  Fishing enthusiasts patiently waiting for some fish to bite.. Beautiful Baywalk. Calm waters, and Sunset.

Having FUN @ SM Mall of Asia

April 07, 2012 - We went to SM Moa just (just before we went to Baclaran Chrurch for the "Salubong").

We decided to finally try the "MOA EYE".  For PHP 150 per head, you get to ride this huge Ferris Wheel.
Could have been a good experience, except that it was too slow and you only get one round.  At times the air-conditioning dies off and it was a little hot.
