The MOA skies was painted again with beautiful colors for the past weeks as the 6th Pyromusical Competition started.
We do not watch the Pyromusical Competition at MOA for the reason that there's too many people that you have compete for space with, especially after the event. We thought we are better off looking at the fireworks from a distance. The fireworks can actually be seen from the balcony of our house.
This all changed when we were encouraged to watch and was offered free VIP tickets by a friend. Well, we have no plans for the Saturday and so we accepted to watch.
The competition was scheduled at 7:30pm, the waiting and anticipation was an experience itself. Entering the area, a festive feeling was in the air with the marching band playing and mascots on stilts roaming around. There were many food stalls where you can buy snacks and drinks. It was quite a long wait, so you would find ways to keep yourself busy.
And when the fireworks started, we understood why watching the competition up close was an entirely difference experience. It was like you can feel every explosion while your eyes widen with awe.
Except for the huge crowd moving out of the area after the competition, the experience was a blast! Until next time!
