A NOT SO ORDINARY VALENTINE'S DAY OUT

Yesterday, 14 FEB,  saw a number of guys lining up on a stall for something I cannot see from where I was.  Just when we got closer... of course, it's a flower stall, after all it's Valentines.

So how did we spend our Valentine's?  I was on leave, not really for Valentine's but because I was availing my 2012 leave credits that would just expire if I do not use them.  so I took sometime off and we scheduled a few activities for the next 2 days.

First,  we have to get my Insurance claim.... but since it would be about lunch time when we reached Makati area, we decided to get lunch first. Our legs brought us to CHIHUAHUA Merican Grill and Margarita Bar at Greenbelt 2.  What are the choices for Lunch? Tacos, Nachos, Chicken Salad and Pecan Pie for dessert.  If you are fond of something spicy, this is one good place to go.  The store ambiance is also cozy that gives you a light feeling even if you are felling hot because of the spices!  There are a lot of pictures on their walls, so you can look at some of the patron's of this place while you chew on your Tacos and Nachos....

After lunch, we only realized that food here was served on aluminum round bowls, closely resembling your.... favorite dog's food pan. hahaha! Is this why this place was called Chihuahua? lol, just kidding!

We headed to claim my Insurance. Seems that claims will be released by APR.

Next stop,  open a Stocks account with Broker.  So we headed to Ortigas to open an Account.  DONE.  Next week, we can start investing in the stocks.

Next stop, claim our RAW wedding video.  Unfortunately, NP cannot locate it in their archives. We were advised that they would just mail or deliver it :(

Then we headed to SM Mega Mall to lazy out the remainder of the afternoon.  Mall was still decorated for Chinese New Year... KUNG HEI FAT CHOI.  We just strolled around, ate some more, visited some stores and headed home when our legs can no longer walk a few more...

I would say that this is not your ordinary Valentine's Day out.  While many are  moving around on their romantic spree, guys still flocking the flower stalls and chocolate lanes, we were going around places moving investments for our future... with date on the side :)
