TUTEL'S BIRTHDAY

It's Roussel's birthday.  I asked her how would she want to spend it? "Just the two of us" was her reply, so... just the two of us then.

Starting off our celebration, Tutel prepared some pasta.  It has been a custom to always have something long, that is to symbolize "long life".  I don't know how that started but we still try to observe it.  Nothing to lose, right?

Before heading for the Mall, we decided to visit "Our Lady of the Pillar" Church to give thanks for

another blessed year for Tutel...

In the afternoon, we decided to go out and stroll for a while through the mall.  Looking through different stores- from book stores, book sales, pet shops, kitchen wares....

 Then it's time for dinner.  We had a long thought of what would we want to eat for this celebration... we passed through Vietnamese Restos,  Persian restos, Ice cream parlors, Pasta's and Pizzas...the winner is.... RACK's.  We have dined many times here and we just thought that our taste buds wants the taste of good (beef) Baby Back Ribs... and Rack's so far has the best in town!

Tutel with half slab of Baby Back Ribs, Mashed Potato, Gravy Fries and soup... well I had different side dishes- corn and carrots and Macaroni and cheese... and we have a pitcher of Iced tea... 

After the meal, we decided to go back to the Ice cream parlor we earlier passed through- "Caramia"... we got ourselves Mint with Choco and Choco Sansrival... what's with the Choco?  Chocolate is good!

Hhhmmmm.... after a full delicious meal and desert.... before heading home, we bought a book for Tutel.  She's been collecting the series "The Sword of Truth" by Terry Goodkind... the Novels behind "The Legend of the Seeker".  She now has 4 of the 12 books... now she has another book to enjoy!

I guess, it's not really where you celebrate your day that makes it magical.  It's how you celebrate it and whom you want to celebrate it that makes your special day... Special.  Happy Birthday Tutel!  I  Love You.
