ENTOURAGE GOES TO BORACAY

There is a saying that the travels that you don't plan, those that were decided at the spur of the moment are those that usually happens... so at the spur of the moment, a few days after Que and Lester's wedding (26 NOV 2014)... the entourage goes to Boracay.

The travel was not without its share of challenges, for one, our flight was cancelled and we have to be moved to a later flight... on stand-by.  As airline employees, we were all traveling as non-revenue passengers (free of charge), so we have to be on stand-by until a seat is available for us.  When we were finally accommodated in one flight, we had some trouble at security check, a pair of small scissors was removed from my camera bag (forgot that I have one in there), and Tutel had a nipper in our carry on. So I have to rush and return to the counter to check-in our bag, and go through the security check once again with-in a few minutes since the boarding for the flight is about to start.

Finally arrived at Boracay, but the weather was not permitting for some activities.  We had to defer until the weather clears.  We all headed to the hotel to drop our things, then we headed out for lunch.

In the afternoon, the skies cleared a bit so we went off to our first activity, Helmet diving.

This was not our first time, but it was for our friends.  The second time is still as exciting as the first one... we all enjoyed the activity.

The beautiful sunset never fails to keep us in awe...
First day was already fun-filled! We all rested to prepare for another day of adventure.

The next day, weather was not permitting for some water activities.  It was raining often so 2nd day was spent lazying around.  Fris bee, swimming, strolling around... we were also taken to some [new] places to eat that we have not tried before.  Whenever we stopped to eat and was regularly full, we managed to lose through the regular [long] strolls :)

The next day, weather has improved.  after getting breakfast and some rest time, we took off to our first activity - jetski.  This was our first time to do this.
The experience was awesome!  Aside from the regular splash of saltwater in your face, the activity was really fun.  Feeling the power of that machine as it slashes through the water was a new experience.  I don't mind doing it again if I have the chance.

Next stop was para-sailing.  We have always wanted to do this and so we did not hesitate to get this activity.
In the start, you can not express the feeling being up there.  You are excited but at the same time you fight the fear of being so high.  But after a while you get comfortable as you enjoy the view.  Once in a while the chute gets is a draft and sways you abruptly, that gives you the gush of adrenaline... then you get comfortable again.  It was a new experience, I have taken Tutel to another activity that conquered one of her fears... fear of heights.

Having FUN before heading out for dinner.

The day we headed back to Manila did have its share of adventure.  Flight from Caticlan was cancelled so we decided to take our chances at Kalibo airport.  Traveling on "seat-availability" added the excitement and fear of not being able to take a flight back home.

But seems that our adventures have to end at some time.  Here we are boarding our flight back to Manila.

Our Boracay experience was a Blast!  See you again Boracay!  Until our next adventure!
