We have long planned to visit Bohol, but have always been moving it to a later date.... so I decided to buy us tickets immediately after a 1 php promo came out courtesy of Air Asia.... another surprise for Tutel...
So we arrived around 8 am and we decided to go straight to our tour and just check-in later in the afternoon at our "bread and breakfast" accommodation.

First and closest stop is the "Sandugo Shrine".
A historic place where blood compact was made between Spanish explorer
Miguel López de Legazpi and Datu Sikatuna the chieftain of Bohol
After an hour drive, we finally started our "reverse" tour as our driver called it, since we started out from the farthest spot then make stops on the sites on our return drive.. not bad actually :)
A quick stop at the man-made forest
Chocolate Hills --- 50 php entrance fee per head. A long climb up the steep stairways... then the nice view of the hills.
Butterfly Conservatory ---- entrance 40 php.
Never imagined that watching butterflies could be relaxing...
Would you like to become a butterfly? Nice camera trick shot by our tour guide.
Tarsiers - Entrance fee 60 php per head. We have to keep quiet all the time
so we do not disturb the tarsiers.
so we do not disturb the tarsiers.
Loboc River -- with Lunch on the "Floating Resto". 100 php entrance fee per head and Lunch Buffet at around 400 per head.
2 stops for this cruise. First stop is where "Tinikling" dancers performed.
2nd stop is with the Ati Tribe.
Then we headed to a quick stop at Bohol Bee Farm to buy some "organics".
A quick stop with "Bayoyong", the smallest man in the world.
Next is a visit to Hinagdanan Cave - entrance fee 50 php per head.
Day 2. 10 SEP 2014 --- Dolphin Watching and Snorkeling. The tour cost us 1,700 for the boat (2 heads), 100 php entrance fee to the island and 300 php for the tour guide/boat man for snorkeling.
Dolphin watching was a little difficult, the dolphins were hard to find, but when we actually got to their area, group of dolphins happily passed us by more than 3 times. It was a new experience.
Snorkeling
Stop over at Virgin Island for leisure time and swimming.
Its long stretch of sand bar was breath-taking!
Day 3. 11 SEP 2014 --- Day Tour at Pangalao Island Nature Resort and Spa. For 550 per head, you can use the facilities of the Resort and a consumable 400 for lunch. It was really a good deal considering that the resort was amazingly beautiful with infinity pools, fine sand beach front and they served tasty meals!

We decided to complete the relaxation with a Spa.
It was a long overdue vacation that turned out to be very relaxing! A little expensive than what we expected, but mostly worth the experience.
Until our next Adventure :)
