PHUKET, THAILAND --- 2 YEARS AND COUNTING

It's been more than a year that promised Tutel that we'll travel outside the country...so for our 2nd year Anniversary I bought tickets and arranged for a travel to Phuket, Thailand. 

We managed to arrange for a 2 day island tour and an extra free day to just walk around and see the place.  Let the FUN begin...

Day 1 - Tour operated by Sea Angel Travel with visits to Phi Phi and Kai Island.  We got the

chance to see the site where the movie "The Beach" was filmed (lower right picture).

Night life in Phuket (Particularly in Bangla Road) seems to extend until early morning. Just reading articles of the activities in Bangla Road is not enough, you have to experience it yourself to really know how FUN it is just being there.

Looking for something to eat along Patong Beach.  Would you try out those... worms? Crickets?  I tried their Chang beer... and it was OK.

Our accommodation at Patong Lodge was okay.  The Staff were attentive but they need to improve on their English skills so they can communicate better. The hotel was located a little farther from the busy area, just the way we like it.  We enjoyed our everyday 10-15 minute walks to get to Patong Beach...

Our Phuket travel was a memorable one.  Experiencing another country's culture is now something that we look forward to in our future travels.
