KULIT @ CHILDREN'S MUSEUM

For our next stop, we headed to Museo Pambata (Children's Museum).  Tutel and I haven't been here so this is also a first visit for us.  Let the FUN begin.

Girls posing with the dolls, A miniature Jeepney, a miniature calesa and from an old window.

Some antique items - an old typewriter, cooking stoves, [charcoal] iron and an old sewing machine.

Playing with Kulintang (local instrument).  Some local items - woven baskets, brooms and native hats.

There is a section of the museum where different jobs can be role played...

Tutel pretending to be a Barber.  The girls playing Fire (wo)men.   A nipa hut locally known as "Bahay Kubo" (native to the Philippines)... Tutel pulling a cart made of bamboo.

Time for Kulit to role play.... a Rice Vendor.. fruits vendor... meat vendor and a shoe maker :)

Some more FUN as a baker... eatery owner... store owner and a pharmacist.

The backdrops were like the real thing!  This made the pictures like the girls were in real stores.  We certainly had good laughs in our role plays.

Then the ladies were resting on this bench when I took their picture.. only to realize that their background also looks so real... so we took another round of pictures of the walls.

Our Museo visit was really FUN.  This museum is not only for the kids but also for those who are young at heart :)  Until our next Adventure....
