CORON ADVENTURE Day 1

9 months ago, I purchased 2 tickets for Busuanga, it was a surprise for Tutel. We both have not been to Coron, and I just thought it would be a nice birthday present.

Our flight left for Busuanga at 11:30 am. All things packed including our snorkeling sets, aqua shoes and cameras (we managed to borrow an underwater camera). Well, this time we arranged for a tour package knowing that walk-in to Coron would be very expensive. We got ourselves 4D3N at Darayonan, City Tour, Coron Ultimate Adventure and Island Tour to Malcapuya Island.

The flight took about 50 mins. Arrived at the airport past lunch time. There was a shuttle waiting to take us to the Coron town proper. The trip took us another 45 minutes from the airport. Finally arrived at Darayonan Lodge past 1 PM. After leaving our things in our room, we headed for the restaurant since we were so hungry... well, lunch was not at all satisfying...

We then went back to our room to take a rest while waiting for our guide to pick us up for the Town Tour.

At around 4:00 our guide came and we started our tour.  First part of the tour is going around the Town on a tricycle.

Coron Municipal Hall

Along the Bay Walk

Then we were taken to Mt. Tapyas with 700 steps climb uphill.
Tutel taking time to rest and enjoy the view.

Finally reaching the TOP of Mt Tapyas.  The view there was spectacular!

After climbing Mt Tapyas, we headed to Maquinit Hot Spring.  Along the way, we passed by the Famous "Coron Harvest" store for some nuts

It was already dark and soaking in the hotspring was really relaxing.  The hotspring is a saltwater hotspring... the downside is that there is no place to shower after your dip.  You just have to dry up, change clothes and get your shower in your hotel.

Back at our hotel, we took a shower then went out for dinner at Coron Village Lodge.  Food was better than lunch! hahaha!

Enjoyed the first day... can't wait until the next day for the island tours! See you on our next day adventure!
