27 AUG - I just turned 34... but I don't feel like 34. Do I look like a 34? Haha!
I was asked how does it feel that I'm now 34. We'll, let me just tell you my thoughts and maybe that would give you an idea.
Married Life. Dec 2011 I married a wonderful woman who shares many of my dreams and stories. Has many stories to tell yet listens closely to my own. She's simple not to 'want' too much luxuries that we cannot afford and she thinks first of what we need. Though at times we indulge ourselves in dining out at some fancy restaurants. We still don't a baby at this time, but we are planning for next year. I have a stable job that pays [well] enough to cover for our daily expenses and still manage to save.
Work. Work is challenging and most of the time "pressured". Having graduated with a Mathematics Degree, my work in Revenue Management is related since it involves forecasting and projections, market analysis and psychology. So there's a lot of Sciences involved. But as we say - RM is more of an art than it is a Science. So work is generally --- Good.
Family. They have been and still are very supportive. While I don't get to see them as often as I want to, they are still there to listen, share and support my endeavors....could not ask for more from them.
We celebrated at Gerry's Grill, Mall of Asia. The funny thing is that when we go there, we always get the exact table no matter how busy the place is. It's like the table is always reserved for us! On birthdays, they say that get some thing long (to eat)--- for longer life.
I guess it's really not how many years are added to your counting... but more of how you have spent those years that gives meaning to life. If you lived your years to the fullest, then I guess --- age is simply a number --- the years that you enjoyed life.
